Tubi is a free streaming service, kind of like Netflix, but free!

Challenge

Tubi, headquartered in the charmingly foggy city of San Francisco, was the setting for the first two months of my six-month visual design contract. The remainder of my contract saw me working remotely from the vibrant city of Melbourne, VIC, Australia.

During my tenure at Tubi, I played a pivotal role in supporting the marketing, user acquisition, and app store teams. My contributions spanned a wide range of creative endeavors, including the design of compelling marketing assets, user acquisition advertisements, and engaging content tailored for various app store platforms. Despite the brief duration of my contract, my time at Tubi was rich with opportunities to create impactful and visually appealing designs that contributed to the company’s growth and success.

Goal

My primary goal in user acquisition is to create compelling, data-driven designs that not only attract new users but also foster long-term engagement. I aim to blend creativity with strategy, crafting visually appealing assets that resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results. By staying attuned to emerging trends and user behaviors, I strive to continuously optimize campaigns, ensuring that each piece of content not only meets but exceeds performance expectations. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to the growth and success of the brands I work with by delivering impactful and user-centric design solutions.

Solution

While at Tubi, I had the opportunity to update numerous legacy assets following the rollout of a new design system and brand guidelines. Working closely with the Head of Design and fellow designers, I ensured all materials were updated to reflect the refreshed brand identity, maintaining consistency and elevating the overall visual quality.
